Willowstar nimbly jumped up a pile of rocks and onto the Highledge. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath Highledge for a clan meeting!" she yowled. She waited until all the cats had emerged from their dens before continuing.
"As you all know, last night at the Gathering, some territory was given to ShadowClan." Ignoring the outraged murmurings, she continued, "To make sure ShadowClan don't break their promise, we will increase border patrols. We also need to increase hunting patrols."
"And," she added, "ThunderClan needs a deputy and a medicine cat. Would anyone be interested? Come to my den to speak to me if you would like the position."
Willowstar turned and bounded into her den. She hoped she didn't anger StarClan by letting ShadowClan share some territory.
