Goldpaw, being more muscular than most windclan cats wasn't as fast as his mentor but not to far behind either. Goldpaw skidded to a hault but his bodyweight was too much and he tumbled into Graycloud. "Sorry Graycloud," Goldpaw muttered embarrased and hoping no thunderclan cats saw that. He quickly got up and looked sheepishly at his paws.

Graycloud picked himself up and shook out his fur. "That's okay Goldpaw," he mewed. Graycloud sniffed around. ThunderClan had been here recently. Graycloud quickly renewed the markers and craned his neck to see if there were any cats nearby.

Nightfall trotted past on a quick patrol. She had smelled cats, but thankfully it was only a WindClan cat and his apprentice. "Ah, training eh?" she mewed as she plodded along. "Better just be teaching him where the borders are and not to cross them" she hissed the last part, digging her claws into the ground.

Graycloud narrowed his eyes at Nightfall's last comment. "Of course Nightfall. Any smart WindClan apprentice, especially one of mine, would know better than to do a stupid thing like invade ThunderClan's territory, right, Goldpaw?" the gray tom hissed. "We should be going anyways. See you at the Gathering,"

Goldpaw glared at Nightfall and meowed with disgust, "Why would I do something like that? I follow the warrior code." Goldpaw flicked his tail high in the air and stalked away behind his mentor.

"You just can't trust anyone these days" she mewed with an exasperated sigh. "See you at the gathering"

Goldpaw stopped at nightfalls change of feeling and looked back at the she-cat. "I understand, it must be difficult sometimes being next to shadowclan. Well see you at the gathering," Goldpaw meowed.
